The year ahead promises several exciting developments for IPTGSA. We will be focusing strongly on tourist guide enhancement, with a renewed emphasis on professionalism, skills development, and industry relevance. We are particularly looking forward to rolling out educational activities and educationals, which remain a cornerstone of our commitment to continuous learning and practical engagement.
A key milestone we are preparing for is the upcoming SAQA site inspection, which represents an important step in strengthening IPTGSA’s standing as a professional body. We appreciate the ongoing support of our members as we work towards this significant objective.
We would also like to remind members that annual membership fees are due by the end of February 2026. Your continued membership and support enable IPTGSA to advocate effectively on behalf of guides, drive professionalisation, and deliver value to the industry.
