The Institute of Professional Tourist Guides of South Africa (IPTGSA) is pleased to invite members and interested guides to an educational hosted visit to Liliesleaf on 30 June 2026.
Liliesleaf is one of South Africa's most significant heritage sites and museums. Located in Rivonia, it served as the secret headquarters of the liberation movement during the struggle against apartheid and was the site of the famous 1963 raid that led to the Rivonia Trial. Today, the museum preserves and interprets this important chapter of South African history through interactive exhibitions, guided experiences, and original historical structures.
This visit offers guides an excellent opportunity to deepen their historical knowledge, enhance their interpretation skills, and gain valuable insights into one of South Africa's premier heritage attractions.
