Covid-19 Protocols for Tourist Guides

The international Covid-19 pandemic has warranted that protocols are established in various industries and tourism and in particular Tourist Guiding. This standard has been developed and is being adopted nationally by tourist guides so that a standard may be achieved. The TBCSA developed the tourism industry protocol and the Tourist guide protocol just refines and details the handling of tourists at ground level. Part of the main protocol is that entities will train and certify their employees or members.

IPTGSA is embarking on educationals and presentations to certify the IPTGSA members.

Registration for this educational is open to members only of IPTGSA and will be held at Workshop 17 facilities in Sandton on Wednesday 9 December 2020 and will be free of charge and include a certificate and badge.

All members that are available to attend please register as numbers are limited. Members in Cape Town need not fear the IPTGSA team is working on a session in Cape Town in the near future.
